The Walls Of Prayer Hall

Walls Of Prayer Hall-Radha Madhav Dham

We have a very special guest post today from a young devotee, Pooja Patel. She has received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University, Fresno and will be pursuing graduate studies. Pooja came to Radha Madhav Dham for the first time for the Devotional Intensive-2014 and fell in love with the place and the philosophy it offered. Finding answers to many of her questions here, she decided to pen down a few of her experiences she gathered, during her almost 2 week stay.  Here she presents the glimpse of devotional feelings personifying the Walls Of The Prayer Hall at Radha Madhav Dham…

Embellished with ancient holy scriptures, and bordered with images of Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharaj in bhav, we revel in our good fortune. The verses are recited every now & then, and we listen intently to the preachers and feel the vibrations of their passionate speeches. We have seen their strength when they sang over a sob. We have witnessed devotee’s Pranaam-fist clasp evolve into a confident up raising of both arms proclaiming “Radhe!” We’ve seen you accidentally sway your head to stay awake during that phonetically stressed and super slow kirtan.

We’ve caught you wiping your tears with your Radhe Shyami, and have felt you slowly surrender yourself to Yugal Sarkar. We’ve heard the tremble in your voice when Maharaj Ji’s pad kirtan spoke for your soul and your words turned into tears instead. We have witnessed your yearning for Yugal Sarkar. These 4 walls have watched you surrender.
