I agree that we cannot question those saints who wrote the scriptures. But what bothers me is that we cannot read them and understand them. They are voluminous and in Sanskrit. It will take a life time. Those who are explaining them to us now, how do I know that his explanations are correct. There are no saints of that caliber now?

Just as we are not qualified to read those Divine scriptures, we are incapable of judging the qualification of a Saint.  It would be like a 3 year old boy trying to judge how knowledgeable a college professor is.  Only when you reach the level of the professor can you understand what level he is at.  In other words, you have to follow what the Saint is teaching and if you do, then you will reach his level.  Then you will understand the Saints and the scriptures.  So the important thing for us now is the practical side: we have toput into practice what Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj is teaching.  Then we will experience the results and we will know that what he is teaching is authentic.  This is how we can reach his level.

Regarding the ‘caliber’ of Saints, all Saints are of the same caliber.  The qualification to be called a Saint is to attain God.  The Vedas say that once a soul attains God, he knows God.  When he knows God, he knows everything.  Thus, all Saints are equal.  The only difference is in which form of God they have attained and which type of Divine Bliss they are experiencing.  We should know that the earth planet is never bereft of true Saints; there are always at least a few true Saints here to guide the souls who desire God.
