Sharat Poornima is an auspicious full moon night when Maharaas occurred 5,000 years ago.  On this night, Radha Krishn revealed their Divine Dance with the Gopi’s on our earth planet to bestow Divine Love on the most deserving souls.  In this Leela, infinite number of Gopi’s participated and Shree Krishna multiplied Himself into as many forms as there are Gopi’s, dancing with each Gopi individually in concentric circles.

Raas is defined as the accumulated sweetness of all the forms of Divine Bliss combined into one Leela (past time enacted by God). And Maharaas is the ultimate rmanifestation of Raas. It’s greatness can be guessed by the fact that even God Shiv and Goddess Lakshmi desired to join and experience this Bliss.

Maharaas took place at midnight of Sharad Poornima night. It was exactly at the same time in 1922, in a small village next to Allahabad, Jagadguru Shree Kripalu Ji Maharajji appeared to this world to spread the message of Divine Love of God.

Shree Maharajji has taught the path of Raganuga Bhakti and inspired souls to worship Radha Krishn in the same style as the Gopi’s.  Those who do Bhakti according to his teachings are progressing towards the attainment of that ultimate Bliss of Maharaas.
